Snibe is pleased to announce its achievement in the 2025 APMP Public Health Initiative — External Quality Assessment Programme (EQAP) for Clinical Markers of Non-communicable Diseases, having received the official APMP EQAP certificate.

Snibe attained outstanding results across all 9 biochemistry routine assays and 18 concentration levels in this assessment with a 100% pass rate. This achievement further validates the accuracy of Snibe’s biochemical assays and our robust capability in metrological traceability.

About APMP EQAP

The Asia Pacific Metrology Programme (APMP) is the core metrology cooperation organization in the Asia-Pacific region. Its Public Health Initiative External Quality Assessment Programme (EQAP) is a highly authoritative and influential capacity verification programme for metrological traceability in the Asia-Pacific, focusing on evaluating testing performance for clinical markers of non-communicable diseases.

The assigned values for this EQAP were jointly determined by authoritative metrology institutes from six countries: China, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Singapore, Thailand and the United States. Higher-order reference methods such as Isotope Dilution Mass Spectrometry (IDMS) were adopted, with measurement values traceable to the International System of Units (SI).

Unlike conventional inter-laboratory quality assessment, APMP EQAP places stringent requirements on metrological traceability, reagent accuracy and metrology systems. Full compliance serves as internationally authoritative proof of an in vitro diagnostics enterprise’s testing competency.
